Texas Hold’em Charity League Rules

 

  1. Each team will consist of 3 bowlers.  Bowlers must be at least 18 years of age to participate. All women, all men, or any combination of men and women.  Subs are permitted.  The league will be a 15 week season.  Position rounds will be held on the 5th, 10th, and 15th weeks.  Bowlers will bowl 3 games each week.
  2. Handicap will be based on 90% of the difference between team averages.
  3. Entering averages-

-If no average from the past 3 years, a new average will be established on the first night of bowling and be used retroactively for the first night.

-If a bowler has an established year book average from the past 2 years, the highest average will be used (must be based on at least 21games).

  1. 7 point system – 2 per game, 1 for totals
  2. Cost $20.00 per person per week.  $3.00 per bowler per week will go towards the Bowl’em & Hold’em game the remainder pays for the bowling, charity, and Hold’em Tournament.  Bowlers are responsible for the full payment of the entire season even if weeks are not bowled.
  3. To be eligible for the Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament a minimum of 30 games per person must be bowled in the bowling league and your league dues must be paid in full.  Only 3 members from each team may go to the Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament.  All bowlers must be paid in full by January 2nd to participate in the Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament.
  4. The Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament will be run by and benefit the Taylor Rotary Club on the weekend of January 26th.  Poker chips in the tournament have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash.  Each bowler in good standing and meeting the prior qualifications will receive the same number of chips (to be determined) for the Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament.
  5. The Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament will be subject to all state and federal regulations.
  6. Bowling rules not stated here will be covered by U.S.B.C. rules.
  7. All participants agree to the above stated rules.
